The Day of the Dead 5K and 10K is Sunday, October 23, 2022 at City Park in Denver. With themed shirts, finisher’s medals, disposable bib chip timing, free photo downloads, and more, this is a great value and a family-friendly fun run.

At each Colorado championship race, athletes will earn Grand Prix points that will accumulate through the year towards a year-end point total.  Points will be earned by all USATF Colorado members with the winner of each division earning 1000 points and the last place finisher earning 200 points.

On Sunday, September 18, four USATF Colorado members competed in the USATF Masters 12 km Championships in Highlands, N.J. The championship, hosted by the by The Hook or Crook 12K, was the eighth race in the 2022 USATF National Masters Grand Prix.

The 2022 USATF 10 km Championships were held on Saturday, September 17 in Northport, NY as part of the Great Cow Harbor 10K Run.

Tailwind Nutrition athlete Annie Hughes, 24, of Leadville, Colo. won the Run Rabbit Run 100-mile race Sunday in the women’s category, with a time of 21 hours, and 26 minutes. Annie finished 10th overall. Richard Lockwood was the first overall male winner in 18 hours, one minute. Run Rabbit Run takes place in Steamboat Springs, and features about 20,300 feet of elevation gain and loss. In the 50 mile event, Georgia Porter was the first overall finisher and first female in 8 hours, 29 minutes.

Kenyan runner Eliud Kipchoge shaved 30 seconds off his previous world record set on the same course four years ago to finish the 2022 Berlin Marathon in 2:01:09.

Join us for the sixth annual Colorado Coyotes Cross Country Invitational on Sunday, October 2, 2022. This meet is open to all youth runners between the ages of 6-14 years old. The course is a mix of mostly grass and crushed dirt rock with a few sidewalk crossings and a few hills.
