Niwot Cross Country Club of Colorado placed second with 109 points in the girl's championship race at Nike Cross Nationals. The race was held at the Glendoveer Golf Course in Oregon.

The USA Track & Field Mountain Ultra Trail (MUT) Running Council of long distance running has named the 2022 USATF MUT Runners of the Year. Several talented MUT runners received nominations*. After reviewing international and national race results, thirteen MUT executive committee members, made up of elite athletes, coaches, administrators and race directors from a dozen USATF Associations, cast ballots for this year’s awards.

Held on February 3, 2024, the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Marathon will be the selection event for the USATF Team at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The top three female and male place finishers in the Olympic Trials who have met qualifying performance standards will self-select for the 2024 USATF Olympic squad.
