More Than 1,500 Converge In Fruita For The Desert Rats Trail Running Festival By UTMB

The 2024 Desert RATS (Running Across the Sand) Trail Running Festival by UTMB® returned to Western Colorado over the weekend offering both exhilarating trail running and breathtaking scenery that the event has become famous for. Elite and passionate runners from around the United States and the globe flocked to the Hawkeye Trailhead to take on one of four demanding courses including the 100K, 50K, 21K and 10K. Runners traversed the famous Kokopelli Trail, climbing up ridgelines with endless views and running along the Colorado river or through the Western Rim via windy singletrack at this famous celebration of trail running.

Four defending pro champions to return to 2024 BolderBoulder

At last year’s BolderBoulder, Americans swept the titles in all four professional races for only the second time in the event’s history. All four of the 2023 champions will return to defend their titles at this year’s race which will take place on Memorial Day, May 27. This will be the 44th running of the race that began in 1979.

The Donut Dash 5K will kick off on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Washington Park in Denver. With themed shirts, finisher’s medals, disposable bib chip timing, free photo downloads, and more, this is a great value and a family friendly fun run. The 5K kicks off at 9 am. Runners and walkers of all ages and paces are welcome.
