Stepanov Wins Second Straight Title at National Junior Olympic Championships in Kentucky

On Saturday, December 9th, 2023, 160 athletes representing 11 clubs from Colorado competed at the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships in Louisville, Kentucky. The competition was held at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park, the site of numerous NCAA championships, including the 2012, 2015, and 2017 Division I championships.

Air Academy finishes 2023 XC season as best in the nation

Despite finishing third at NXR Southwest, which was her only loss of the year, the Niwot High School sophomore found redemption only a few short weeks later, winning her very first Nike Cross Nationals title on Dec. 2 in Portland, Oregon.

Mount Democrat trail and summit near Alma is now property of the USFS
