Middaugh, Paterson Capture XTERRA Beaver Creek Crowns

Josiah Middaugh and Lesley Paterson captured the ninth-annual XTERRA Beaver Creek Championship race elite titles on a picture-perfect morning in the Rocky Mountains surrounding Avon, Colorado. The win is Middaugh’s fifth straight here on his home course (he lives a mile from the start line) and his third in a row on the XTERRA Pan America Tour this year. For Paterson, the two-time XTERRA World Champ, it’s her first XTERRA victory of the year and in her first try on this course.

USA Wins International Team Challenge at the BolderBOULDER

BolderBOULDER, one of America’s largest 10K events, announced that 49,701 walkers, joggers and runners registered for the 2017 race on Memorial Day and 45,574 of those crossed the finish line. The race also supports an additional 2,000 service men and women that participated in BolderBOULDER military satellite races around the world, but does not calculate these numbers into the overall total.

Colfax Marathon Attracts Over 16,000 Runners

Colfax Marathon weekend did not disappoint, attracting over 16,000 runners and walkers to take part in one of the five hosted events throughout the weekend. There was something for everyone: a marathon, half marathon, 10 mile, marathon relay and 5K race. The cool morning temperatures coupled with the abundant sunshine made for the perfect weekend of running and celebrating afterwards!

Modern workout gear makes going for a long run more enjoyable than the cotton t-shirts of days gone by and various gadgets help us track our training in ways that previous generations couldn’t even imagine. Abadi, Callahan Win Horsetooth Half Marathon

It was a record-setting morning at the 44th Annual Horsetooth Half Marathon in Fort Collins. Not only did the top three male finishers all finish under the previous course record time, but the event itself broke its own finisher record, welcoming 1,647 finishers.
