Runners kicked off Thanksgiving morning at the TD5K in Highlands Ranch. The chilly temperatures didn't stop athletes from coming out and getting in their turkey trot.
After an epic Tuesday snow storm, runners rebounded to get out of the house on Thursday and make it a fun day of running before their Thanksgiving feasts.
The men's and women's course records fell at the Colorado USATF 5K Championships, which were held at the Pumpkin Pie 5K race at City Park in Denver. Marty Andrie of Golden raced to a 14:34 win in the men's championship event, edging out Geoffrey Kipchumba of Colorado Springs, who finished in 14:41.…
