The seventh and final race in the Vail Recreation District’s (VRD) Vail Trail Running Series, the Dynafit Meadowgold 10K and 5K is presented by Town of Minturn.

This exciting route will take place on Meadow Mountain in Minturn, Colorado. 10K runners will ascend technical singletrack on the beautiful West Grouse Trail with multiple stream crossings and fields of blossoming wildflowers. At the high point and nearly half-way through the 10K race, runners will begin the descent to the finish on double track with open views of Vail Mountain and the Gore Range. 5K runners will enjoy a 1.5 mile double track ascent through mountain meadows and past old homesteads before making a u-turn and quickly descending to the finish line.

The Meadow Mountain course is remote. Please be prepared and be self-sufficient while racing. We advise that participants bring their own water and fuel for on-course. There will be an aid station on course at Mile 1 and 2 for 5K runners and Mile 1 and 5.5 for 10K runners.
