Celebrating its 40th year, the world-famous Leadville Trail 100 Run presented by La Sportiva race returned to Leadville, the pinnacle finale event of the 2023 Leadville Race Series. Runners’ Miles Will Save Wildlife as Boulderthon Partners with Denver Zoo

Denver Zoo is joining the partner pack at Boulderthon. The nonprofit wildlife conservation organization, which cares for more than 3,000 animals on its Denver campus and helps save wildlife around the world, has signed on as the Official Conservation Partner for the event, as well as the Title Sponsor of the Kids Run. This relationship elevates the Zoo’s mission and conservation efforts and creates an engaging new way for participants of all ages to be educated on how they can save wildlife for future generations.

The Mile High Mile Delivers Fast Times and Excitement for All

With electric energy from a roaring crowd, The Mile High Mile delivered plenty of excitement at the Fairview High School track in Boulder. The unique event, produced by the Boulder Road Runners, features over ten separate heats of the mile for runners of all ages and abilities – from youths to masters to elites, as well as the Teri Leiker Memorial Mile. A record number of athletes took to the track to run or walk four laps in their specific race.

The 2023 UTMB World Series continued with the 2023 Speedgoat Mountain Races by UTMB on July 21-22. Celebrating its 16th anniversary, the iconic mountain race featured 1,400 registered runners from 48 states and 24 countries, regions and territories embarking on one of the four distances offered at the Speedgoat Mountain Races by UTMB. The four demanding courses included a 50K, 28K, 21K, and 10K filled with breathtaking views and beautiful mountain trails of the unique rocky terrain of the Wasatch Mountains.
