Evergreen’s Schaenzle to Memorialize Daughter with 1,000 Mile Bike Tour

In December 2016, 60-year-old Gil Schaenzle had an epiphany. That’s when she told her 20-year-old daughter Anna Rose—who was suffering from a rare cancer known as NETs (neuroendocrine tumors) —that she wanted to run in 50 national parks. Gil asked her daughter to be her support vehicle driver once she’d recovered and felt up to it, but Anna Rose declined, saying she wanted to run with her mom instead.

Top professional triathletes from around the globe will come to Colorado to compete at the IRONMAN® 70.3® Boulder triathlon when the IRONMAN Pro Series™ returns to North America on Saturday, June 8. The 2024 IRONMAN 70.3 Boulder triathlon will offer professionals a maximum of 2,500 points towards IRONMAN Pro Series standings, a $50,000 event total pro prize purse, and three qualifying slots for each gender to the 2024 VinFast IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship taking place in Taupo, New Zealand.

Boulder Bolder 10K Welcomes 47,000 on Memorial Day

The 44th running of the Bolder Boulder welcomed 47,000 runners, walkers and wheelchair athletes. The 10K race travels through the streets of Boulder, Colorado, each year and finishes inside Folsom Field on the University of Colorado campus.
