After running 17:52 at Desert Twilight, placing an impressive 7th overall in the sweepstakes division, Vancik is proving to be one of the best runners in all of Colorado, not just for sophomores.

Lucas Santos of Valor Christian High School has the fastest 5k for all sophomores in Colorado. Santos ran 15:35 at the Cheyenne Mountain Stampede a couple of weeks ago, placing an impressive 7th overall in the championship division.
