All permits cancelled

In an email sent to all permit holders, the City of Denver has cancelled all events, including running events.

In alignment with new CDC guidelines, Denver has issued an amended public health order prohibiting all gatherings of 50 or more people (indoor and outdoor), effective immediately through May 11, 2020.

Gatherings include permits for: Event Facilities (Central Park Pavilion, Chief Hosa Lodge, City Park Pavilion, Fleming Mansion, Montclair Civic Building, Washington Park Boathouse); Public Assembly/1st Amendment gatherings; Filming; Picnics; Public Events (including races/walks, festivals, concerts, etc.); Special Occasions; Tournaments and ALL Athletic Fields/Courts.

The Parks Permit Office will not be processing NEW applications for any permit type nor rescheduling any existing reservations until further notice.

Part of the email sent to event directors from the Parks Permitting Office on March 18th.

This means that all events within the city and county of Denver have been cancelled.

If you were registered for an event in this time frame, you can expect communication from the event director on what they plan to do.
