Registration Open for 195-Mile Wild West Relay
November 11, 2008 -- Registration is now open for the sixth annual Wild West Relay, a 195-mile team running relay race in northern Colorado. Also known in the running community as "Get Your Ass Over the Pass," the event will take place on Friday and Saturday Aug. 7 - 8, 2009.
Rim Rock Run Record Falls
Grand Junction (Nov 8, 2008) - Timmy Parr had a number in mind: 2:14.29. That’s the age-group record for men ages 25-29 in the Rim Rock Run. As he ran the final few yards of the course Saturday morning that winds up, over and down the Colorado National Monument, he was hoping he would hear a number below that.
Registration For Greenland Trail Races Now Open
Littleton, CO (8 Nov 2008) - Registration for the fifth annual Greenland Trail 50K, 25K and 8M is now open. The race will take place on May 9, 2009 at Greenland Open Space in Douglas County. Victor-y! Plata, Groff Win in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (8 Nov 2008) - Victor Plata and Sarah Groff are both wishing the 2008 racing season was just starting rather than coming to a close. Both athletes were in prime form to earn wins at the San Francisco Triathlon at Treasure Island on Saturday. The race - an ITU Pan American Cup - was also the final race in the USA Triathlon Haul to the Great Wall Elite Series.

Harbert Lumber Fall Festival 5K (Grand Junction, CO)
The 9th annual Harbert Lumber Fall 5K was held on Saturday, November 1st at Canyon View Park in Grand Junction. The race was won by Omar Martinez in a time of 16:50. Leanne Whitesides was the first female, running 20:25. Pictured at left is Eric Borschel, who finished in 19:16.

Donaldson Shines at World Championship 24 Hour in Korea
Jamie Donaldson of Littleton, Colo., was the U.S. star at this weekend's World 24 Hour Run Championship, held in Seoul, Korea. Donaldson, who earlier this year had set a new women's course record at the Badwater 135 mile race (from Death Valley to Mount Whitney in California), finished 5th among women with 136.75 miles. Donaldson led the U.S.
