Almost 4,000 runners and walkers took to the course to support the Fetal Hope Foundation - more than any in the race's history.  From top Colorado runners to families and kids with sweet tooth's, Sunday's race was success on several different levels.

The fifth annual Home for the Holidays 5K was a huge success Saturday morning as record numbers of participants and spectators alike came out to City Park to raise awareness and funds for the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless.

An 11-member skydiving team carried a  7,800 square foot American flag high above the Start Line of the 38th Marine Corps Marathon. Shortly afterwards, a 105mm Howitzer M2A1 fired the celebratory salute to signify the beginning of the race and over 31,000 runners began their run.
