On Memorial Day, Alamosa's Brittni Hutton won the BolderBoulder 10k citizen's race, in a time that would've ranked very well in the professional, elite race.  Brittni answers a few questions about that race, Alamosa, and is our May "The Runner Box" runner of the month.

Elite Trail ultrarunner Dave Mackey suffered severe leg injuries after a fall from a ridge near the summit of Bear Peak in Boulder, Colorado, on Saturday morning. He was evacuated by members of the Rocky Mountain Rescue Group and is recovering in stable condition.

Over the weekend a close friend and long-time Boulder runner confessed that he’d never visited Rocky Mountain National Park. The iconic park just outside of Estes Park turns 100 this year! And it’s full of great opportunities for adventure running.
