It was perfect running weather Sunday morning as thousands of people participated in the Colfax marathon that kicked off in City Park.

Paul Petersen and Samantha Kitchen live 1,900 miles apart, but they ended up at the same place Sunday, winning their respective divisions of the 17th running of the Colorado Marathon.

Almost 1,700 participants converged on City Park this past Saturday for Colorado Runner's inaugural Donut Dash 5K and 10K. The weather was warm and sunny, providing a beautiful backdrop for a fun morning to enjoy the sweet satisfaction of running and donuts!
