Colorado Springs’ Chelimo wins Olympic Trials 5,000
Sprinting the best off of a slow opening pace, Paul Chelimo of Colorado Springs won the men’s 5,000-meter final at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials in 13:26.82. Columbine grad Woody Kincaid also made the team in third (13:27.13).
Wheat Ridge grad Kunz wins Heptathlon at Olympic Trials
