Strap on your snowshoes and join us as we march around the beautiful Beaver Creek Golf Course for the inaugural Tony O’Rourke Memorial Snowshoe Shuffle! There will be 2 distances to choose from, a 5K & a 10K, as well as a FREE Kid’s Fun Run through Creekside Park! The event will conclude with brunch and awards in Beaver Creek Village.

This event honors the memory of Tony O’Rourke, who brought snowshoe racing to Beaver Creek. Tony was the Executive Director of the Beaver Creek Resort Company and established Beaver Creek as a snowshoe destination with the Beaver Creek Snowshoe Series. We are excited to bring snowshoe racing back to Beaver Creek in his memory. All profits will be donated to Starting Hearts in Tony’s memory, who passed away in 2023 due to a heart attack.

The Beaver Creek Snowshoe Shuffle will challenge runners to strap on snowshoes and set new PRs, as well as a fun, non-competitive, community hike for others. We can’t wait to see you all shuffling in the snow as we honor Tony!
