The New Vision 5K Run/Walk exists to support New Vision Charter School, a public school in the Thompson School District. It’s main purpose is to provide our staff and students with wellness opportunities throughout the school year. The Wellness program educate our students on how to make healthy choices throughout their lives, through good nutrition and exercise.

The Wellness Committee has provided lots of fun wellness activities for our students and staff. We host a Wellness night, monthly health challenges, pedometer challenges, and running club.

Projects that have been previously completed with the funds are Grief journals, emotions journals, flexible seating, a tower garden for the school, a running path around our soccer field, drumfit equipment, and the Lu Projector in the new gym. As well as help us put on the event of Wellness Night.
