Join us for the inaugural Flyin’ Ryan Memorial 5k , a heartfelt event dedicated to honoring the memory of Ryan Vomacka, an exceptional athlete and individual who left an indelible mark on our community. Ryan, a Mountain View High School graduate, was an integral part of the Cross Country and Track teams, helping lead the Mountain View Boys to victory in the 2016 State Track Championship. Ryan’s courage, determination, and spirit, especially in his battle with brain cancer, continue to inspire all who knew him. This race is more than just a competition; it’s a celebration of Ryan’s life and legacy. By participating, you are supporting the Track and Cross Country programs at Mountain View High School, with future plans to establish a scholarship fund in Ryan’s honor, awarded annually to a deserving athlete from the program .We hope to make this race an annual tradition, fostering community spirit and support for our young athletes.
