Recovery Run of the Rockies 5K
Join us for the 4th Annual Recovery Run of the Rockies 5K on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Fossil Creek Park in Fort Collins, Colorado!
This professionally timed 5K brings runners, walkers, families, and community members together for an energizing morning celebrating recovery, health, and hope. Whether you are racing for a personal best, enjoying a scenic run through the park, or walking alongside friends and family, all abilities and paces are welcome.
Day-of packet pickup begins at 7:00 a.m., and the race starts at 8:00 a.m. Participants can look forward to age-group awards, music, a supportive race-day atmosphere, and a free pancake breakfast provided by the Lions Club after crossing the finish line.
The Recovery Run of the Rockies is more than a race—it is an opportunity to celebrate the strength of people in recovery, reduce stigma, and demonstrate that long-term recovery is possible. Proceeds benefit Lighthouse Recovery Community’s affordable, community-based supportive housing program for individuals rebuilding their lives after addiction, homelessness, incarceration, and other significant barriers to stability.
Bring your running partners, friends, and family and help us make our fourth annual race the biggest celebration yet!
