In-Person Racing Continues its Comeback with At Least 7 Weekend Races

There were at least seven races held in person over the weekend, showing continuing signs of recovery in the industry. On Saturday, 3W Races held its first in-person event post-COVID at Denver’s Sloan’s Lake Park. The Denver 5K had fast top times and more than 300 finishers on the beautiful morning.

Highlands Ranch was host to the Mountain Ridge Half Marathon. In Vail, the Evergold Trail Run took place. The Little Foot Triathlon was held in Lakewood. Fort Collins hosted the Black Squirrel Half Marathon.

On Sunday, the Highline Canal Run was held by South Suburban Parks and Recreation in Centennial. The Tri the Rock Kid’s Triathlon also took place in Castle Rock to an enthusiastic field of kids.
