Win prizes, collect bibs and medallions, and support local businesses, charities, and artists! All partners are welcome, including other race producers – just reach out. We want this to be the best thing for the Colorado running community!

10% of your registration and all of your donations go to Food Bank of the Rockies® and trail non-profits.  ($1 of each reg to the trail non-profit that supports your course, the rest to FBR).

Here’s How It Works

  1.  Sign up for your preferred distance (you can compete both as an individual and as a team!).  Long and Short Course also gets you entered into the mini-challenges throughout.
  2.  Log your miles, vert, and time on our platform – get tracked on our map and leader boards. (You’ll get an email before the challenge starts on how this works).
  3. Compete simultaneously in the main and mini-challenges for prizes and swag.
  4. Obey ALL closures, restrictions, and safety necessary.  Take this challenge virtually unless/until it is deemed safe to do so.

The Routes

Each segment gives you its own taste of Colorado, and we’ll be filling in with challenges (spurs) that fall off of these main courses.  We’ll be fleshing out with content, photos, links, and promotions along the way that plug the sections of the course you run along!

The Colorado Trail (Long Course, 486 miles, 89k feet)

The Front Range (Short Course, 273 miles, 12.5K Feet)

This specially built course travels from Laramie WY to the Royal Gorge Bridge and passes through the main street of many of the great Front Range towns, stopping by the finish line of the BolderBoulder 10K!

Nolan’s 14 – (We’re calling it 100 miles, 44K feet)

If you know what this is, I don’t have to explain it to you.  Choose your own route on the classic challenge covering the 14 closest 14ers in the Sawatch Range.   The challenge calls for 60 hours, but we’re giving you 2 weeks.  So if you’re like me, just camp out at Twin Lakes and pick ’em off 1 or 2 at a time :)
