In his World Championships debut, Cherry Creek graduate Parker Wolfe was the first American to cross the finish line for Team USA at the 2026 World Athletics Cross Country Championships in Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida on Saturday, January 10th. He improved his placement throughout the race, opening in fifteenth and staying near the main pack for the race. Roughly halfway through, Wolfe started to push and worked his way up to 12th, and he held that position for the last 3k.
