Continuing with our sophomore focus, Raleigh Davis of ThunderRidge High School is our next future star, leading the way for all 10th graders in Colorado. Her time of 18:07 is the fastest time for the grade, running that time at the Cheyenne Mountain Stampede and placing 4th overall. She then went on to run 18:48 at the Arapahoe Warrior Invitational, placing an impressive 5th overall in the competitive field.

Looking at her stats from last year, Davis has made huge improvements from her first year, where she only broke 19 minutes once. Considering the technicality of the Cheyenne Stampede course, Davis is definitely on the cusp of already breaking 18 minutes in the 5k!

She also put together a very impressive track season, running times of 11:15 in the 3200m and 5:11 fro the 1600m, which were some of the best marks for the 9th grade class in the state of Colorado. Clearly she has continued to ride the momentum she built for herself from the spring season going into the fall season, and we cannot wait to see how she continues to improve!
