Folts, Greene take top spots at Yeti Chase 10K

Just over 300 runners and walkers ventured to Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood for the 10th annual Yeti Chase 5/10K. Starting groups of 10 every five minutes, the event took five hours to complete.

In the 10K, Brian Folts of Englewood led 129 athletes to the finish in 35:40, a pace of 5:45 per mile. Megan Greene of Littleton finished sixth overall to take home the ladies title in 41:06.

In the accompanying 5K, 181 athletes were led by Adam Rich of Colorado Springs in 16:11. Nicole Jefferson of Golden was the top female in fifth place overall (19:37).
