DESCRIPTION:Celebrating our 21st year\, the American Lung Association in Colorado proudly offers the only timed-race event at the iconic\, gorgeous Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre. This unique run/walk challenge combines breathtaking scenery and a rock ‘n roll vibe for our 1.3-mile run/walk and 5K. Dogs are welcome at both events. \nWe will host over 1\,500 participants on a course that begins in the Upper North Lot at Red Rocks and continues along the beautiful park roads\, concluding with the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre stairs. Bands will be present along the route to entertain and motivate you with a real rock ‘n roll vibe!

DESCRIPTION:Whether you run for a team\, as an individual\, or you just want to try out the experience of running a cross country race\, you are welcome to join us for the 2024 Elevated XC Showdown! Boys/Girls will run in combined races\, and will be separated by age groups below.  All courses utilize the same start/finish area. The 2k is entirely on grass\, while the 3k/4k are a mixture of grass and hard packed gravel with a couple short crossings over asphalt (1-lane road). All courses are flat and VERY spectator friendly. See course maps below. \nThis will be a USATF sanctioned event (membership not required to participate).
