Registration is open for the Frosty’s Frozen races. The races will be held on Saturday, January 22 at Hudson Gardens in Littleton. Three distances are offered – a 5k, 10k and half marathon. Registration is available now at www.coloradorunnerevents.com.

The race benefits the Boulder County Wildfire Fund. The Wildfire Fund is distributing $5M in financial assistance to those whose homes have been destroyed or damaged on December 30 and 31, and an additional $500K to support the needs of evacuees from this fund.

The race also benefits the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, a nonprofit organization that has been helping the homeless for 30 years.

In addition to enjoying a flat and fast race course that travels the paved Platte River Trail, runners and walkers will receive a fun shirt, a finisher’s medal, chip timing, and a party-like atmosphere at the finish with yummy food and drink.

Runners Roost will help the winners of each race celebrate with gift certificates to first, second, and third place age group winners in every race.

Runners can pick up their packets at Runners Roost Lone Tree the night before the event. Runners and walkers can also register and claim their race packets on race morning at Hudson Gardens.

Frosty’s Frozen race is a part of the Winter Distance Series, a three-race series that is currently celebrating its 17th year.  The three races in the series include the Santa Stampede, the Frosty’s Frozen race, and the Snowman Stampede 5K, 10K and half marathon.
