The Day of the Dead 5K and 10K is a race to celebrate tradition, unity, and community. This holiday is not one that focuses on death, but rather a celebration of life. Honor the tradition with a fun morning of fitness and friend at Denver’s City Park. Runners and walkers will complete a flat and fast 5K course through the park, then enjoy a finisher’s medal, a vendor village, food and drinks, a themed shirt and awards for the top runners. 10K runners will complete the course two times.

Runners Roost will help the winners of each race celebrate with a new pair of shoes and they are also giving $20, $15, and $10 gift certificates to first, second, and third place age group winners in every race. A prerace packet pickup will be held at Runners Roost in Denver on Colorado Boulevard. Runners can also register for the race at the packet pickup. On race morning, packet pick up and registration will begin at 7:00 am.
