The Vail Recreation District is pleased to announce the return of the Dynafit Vail Trail Running Series in 2021! After a year of unprecedented adversity in the Vail Valley and beyond, we couldn’t be more excited to offer a reason to get back out on the trails, connect with the community, create new bonds and test your endurance!
The 2020 trail running series was able to be executed smoothly and safely despite numerous hurdles and restrictions due to COVID-19, and race staff feel prepared and optimistic about the 2021 season.
“2020 was difficult but we learned a lot, including some new protocols that will improve the race experience for runners for years to come – pandemic or not,” says race director Beth Pappas. “Based on how things went last summer, we feel confident that we can put on the races safely and successfully again in 2021.”
Back for a third season as the title sponsor, Dynafit aims to expand their impact on the trail racing scene in the high country. When it’s all over, many Dynafit shoes, jackets and hats will be awarded, miles will be logged, runners will be humbled and exhilarated, and champions will be crowned.
