The Rocky Mountain Road Runners kicked off the 2021 racing season with the Riverside Rambles 5K/10K at Platte River Trailhead Park in Thornton on January 3rd. With calm winds and temperatures in the 40s at start time, the weather was perfect for a race along the Platte River.
Since the majority of other events had been cancelled around the new year, this event saw more participants than normal.
