Get into the holiday spirit with the Christmas Sweater 5K! Runners and walkers, young and old, are invited to join us at Washington Park in Denver for a flat, fast course. Dress in a tacky sweater – the more tinsel, bows, reindeer and candy canes, the merrier. It’s not a fashion faux pas if you’re supposed to wear it!
The Christmas Sweater 5K will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Washington Park in Denver. With themed shirts, finisher’s medals, disposable bib chip timing, free photo downloads, awards for top runners, and more, this is a great value and a family friendly fun run. The first waves in the 5K kick off at 8 am. Runners sign up for a start time when they register. There are 175 runners max currently allowed in each hour with smaller waves of 25 people starting together at a time. Runners and walkers of all ages and paces are welcome.
Runners Roost will help the winners of each race celebrate with a new pair of shoes and they are also giving $20, $15, and $10 gift certificates to first, second, and third place age group winners in every race. The age groups are as follows: 9 and under, and then five year age groups up to 80+. Awards will be available for pickup for two weeks past the event at Runners Roost Colorado Blvd.
