Run the Monument Marathon in Nebraska this Fall

The Monument Marathon in Gering/Scottsbluff, Nebraska, is just three hours north of Denver, Colorado, in the scenic North Platte Valley located along the Oregon Trail. The race is scheduled for September 26, 2020. Towering natural landmarks, pine-covered hills, rugged badlands, and a rural natural landscape provide a stunning and tranquil experience. You’ll run along part of the Oregon Trail as the course traverses through Mitchell Pass and around Scotts Bluff National Monument. This is Nebraska like you’ve never seen it before!

The safety of our runners, volunteers, and community is of the utmost importance, so are working closely with the State of Nebraska and Panhandle Public Health Department to ensure all safety precautions are maintained. To give our runners additional peace of mind, we have changed our refund policy this year to include the option of a full refund if we need to cancel due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Monument Marathon offers an opportunity for you to shake off the confines of quarantine, experience fresh air and beautiful landscapes, and provide support for Western Nebraska Community College students who need help now more than ever.
