Meet Heather 👇
Heather lost her mom to cancer when she was only 27 years old. A special friend came into her life to help her deal with her loss, Avi’s grandmother Regina. Regina was her rock through life so imagine the emotion when Heather learned her friend’s granddaughter was diagnosed with leukemia last year.

Women of the year
Each year, in communities across the country, dynamic, passionate candidates engage in a spirited ten-week fundraising competition to earn The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Man & Woman of the Year” titles, by raising funds for blood cancer research and patient services. Heather was nominated as a candidate for 2020 “Woman of the Year”.
The first 200 registrants receive this commemerative RUN Avi Run medal.
