The Cinco K Mayo 5K will kick off on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Washington Park in Denver. With themed shirts, finisher’s medals, disposable bib chip timing, free photo downloads, and more, this is a great value and a family friendly fun run. The 5K kicks off at 9 am. Runners and walkers of all ages and paces are welcome.
The Cinco K Mayo 5K offers a lot of fun and fitness at a more affordable price than other local races. Kids pricing is currently just $25 with adults starting at $30. You can also sign up for an entire series to save even more.
Runners and walkers will complete a flat and fast 5K course through the park, then enjoy a finisher’s medal, a vendor village, food and drinks, a themed shirt and awards for the top runners.
Runners Roost will help the winners of each race celebrate with a new pair of shoes and they are also giving $20, $15, and $10 gift certificates to first, second, and third place age group winners in every race. The age groups are as follows: 9 and under, and then five year age groups up to 80+.
A prerace packet pickup will be held at Runners Roost in Denver on Colorado Boulevard on Saturday, May 2 from 3-6pm. Runners can also register for the race at the packet pickup. On race morning, packet pick up and registration will begin at 8:00 am.
