Pumpkin Pie 5K Hosts USATF Colorado Grand Prix Race With $900 Prize Money

USATF Colorado is proud to be a partner with several great long distance running events around the state, which also serve as USATF state championship events. In conjunction with popular, established competitions, we’re conducting races with distances ranging from 5 kilometers to 25 kilometers over terrain varying from flat and fast to mountainous, plus a cross country event.

The USATF Colorado 2017 Road Race Grand Prix has already held competitions with the Classic 10k in Colorado Springs and the Denver Rock ‘n Roll half marathon. Next up is the Pumpkin Pie 5K in City Park in Denver on Saturday, November 18, 2017.

The following prize money will be available for the 5km:

• Open Men and Women 1st. $150, 2nd $100, 3rd $50
• Masters Men and Women 1st $75, 2nd $50, 3rd $25

As with all USATF Colorado Championship Races athletes must be USATF Colorado Members, Colorado Residents for 6 months and eligible to compete for the US in an international competition.
All runners wishing to be considered for the USATF Colorado Championships must ensure their USATF membership number is current and submitted to the race director. Runners area allowed to double dip with open and masters prize money.
