The park includes approximately 10 miles of trails over hilly terrain and rocky single track. This lung-burning trail travels from a parking lot in Manitou Springs, which is located just west of Colorado Springs, at 6,650 feet. The U.S. Forest Service trail winds up the east face of Pikes Peak in the Pike National Forest and summits at 14,115 feet.

Denver Trail Runners is a FREE running group for people who like running trails in the Denver, Colorado area.

DTR meets every Thursday evening, year round, at the trails on the west side of town, mostly in the Morrison/Golden area. Over the winter, we may occasionally do an urban, non-trail run, depending on weather/trail conditions.

Devil's Canyon loops through a striking and beautiful sandstone canyon. It travels along a creek across the canyon and through juniper trees. An unfinished and deserted cabin can be seen at the halfway point of the loop. Don't be surprised if you encounter several horses, or even a donkey.

We are an informal group of mountain trail runners. Regular runs are on Saturdays at 8:30 AM at various locations in the Evergreen Colorado area.

Most runs are between 5 and 8 miles. Sometimes people what to do more miles - in the summer they come early and put in their extra miles and join the rest of us at 8:30. Sometimes we go out for coffee afterwards.
