Frosty's Frozen Five 5M/10M (Littleton, CO)
A record crowd turned out on a beautiful morning at Chatfield State Park for the third annual Frosty's Frozen Five 5M and 10M. James McGown of Sidney, NE (left) won his second race in the Winter Distance Series as he led 281 people across the line in the 10M, running a course record 56:37. 282 people finished the 5M, led by Michael Johnson of Littleton (29:22) and Tania Pacev of Lakewood (35:44).

Heather Hunt of Englewood set a course record in winning the female division of the 10M, running 1:04:04.

Richard Paradis was the third master's runner, finishing eighth in 1:01:50.

Bridget Tschappat of Centennial was the second female in the 10M, running 1:05:27.

Carrie Armknecht of Erie, Courtney Imhoff of Lafayette, and Katie Christianson of Louisville (L to R) run together near the eight mile mark.

Susan Brashear of Highlands Ranch finished the 5M in 50:19.

David Young of Aurora finished the 5M in 42:45 to finish third in the 50-59 age group.
