BornFit Doubles Its Game Within The Athletic Wear Industry
(Denver) - What began as athletic wear with 'mom in mind', brings more spirit to its sport by introducing the NEW BornFit Collection. Whether you're a marathon runner, practicing pre-natal yoga, or hiking the Rockies, BornFit brings the best performance to its apparel, no matter what level of fit.
The belief that fitness is the foundation is the inspiration for BornFit. The company believes that a strong, fit body builds a confident spirit, which affects each and every area of your life.
When college roommates Lisa Welch and Julie Hill realized they could not find cool fitness clothes during their pregnancies - they decided to create their own line of athletic wear. With the success of the BornFit Maternity Collection, they've now expanded the line to include the BornFit Collection, 'relaxed fit' sporty styles for women that are sold at boutique running stores, Title Nine Sports and Nordstrom.
Stretchy moisture-wicking fabrics in vibrant colors and modern shapes complement any figure; with a variety of tees, tanks, jackets, shorts, capris, performance pants and skorts. BornFit's special garment details include tops designed with room in the mid-section and longer length in the front and back. The unique design of their supportive bottoms features a signature wide waistband with a hidden drawstring. Additional highlights include new signature BornFit marks, including a trio of circles that form a reflective logo. These three special circles express "BornFit. LiveFit. StayFit." Prices range from $40 - $80.
As an athlete, entrepreneur and mother of two, co-founder Lisa Welch speaks authentically to women's organizations and special interest groups. She focuses on "9 Tips to Achieving Every Goal" addressing how women simultaneously can achieve any goal, be fantastic mothers, and actively care for themselves.
Welch has a history with fitness as a marathon runner, having completed the Rock 'N' Roll Marathon, the Marine Corps Marathon and Avenue of the Giants Marathon. When looking at her race experiences, it is not the running that she is most proud of - but, the non-profits she fundraised for with each and every step. Welch says that her friends and family raised over $20,000 for the American Cancer Society. This strong-hearted philosophy is the core of BornFit as a company. BornFit pays it forward by donating a portion of sales to causes that truly resonate with them. It may be a large, national organization such as The American Heart Association or a grassroots fundraiser for a young girl who needs help with her medical bills. "We are very grateful to those who inspire us to be better individuals, and we feel it's important to give of our time, talent and treasure," says Welch.
