The La Sportiva Berry Picker Trail Run starts an an elevation of 8,238 feet at the base of Vail Mountain and ascends to 10,346 to the top of Eagle's Nest on Vail Mountain. The average grade is 12 percent on single track and double-wide gravel paths. In 2008, the Berry Picker served as a final selection race for the U.S. Mountain Running Team. Race will begin at Golden Peak.
