
Nichols, Suszek Claim Course Records at ADTM
Colorado Springs, CO-Alex Nichols (pictured) of Colorado Springs and Michele Suszek of Longmont won men's and women's races in the American Discovery Trail Marathon on Monday. Both set course records. Nichols, who runs for the Colorado Running Company, clocked a 2:30:32 in his first competitive marathon, eclipsing the old record set in 2009 by Justin Ricks.

Frith Father-Son Team Aim High at ADTMarathon
Colorado Springs, CO - A year ago, Gary and Kenny Frith were the talk of the American Discovery Trail Marathon. Gary, a retired Air Force Academy graduate (1978), pushed Kenny, his son who suffers from Cerebral Palsy, in a large wheeled jogger for the entire 26 miles to raise funds for the Cerebral Palsy Association of Colorado Springs.
