As my father and I have started the stretch run towards completing our goal of running a marathon in all 50 states, the B&A Trail Marathon near Annapolis presented itself quite nicely. The race fell at a very good time for me (the march/April issue of the magazine was finished as was the Winter Distance Series).

Paula Radcliff has announced that she is withdrawing from April's London Marathon due to a foot injury. It makes me wonder if she is going to be able to be in shape and healthy when the London Olympics roll around. Right now it seems she is more likely to be baking or playing poker online in 2012, than competing in the Olympics.
