The Eddie Bauer Mud Run is a race for people of all ages and running abilities. The course features a short lap format that take runner’s around the Vail Mountain Plaza. Each lap ends with a sprint through a mud pit. Kids tackle one lap while adults run the course three times.

The America’s Uphill begins at the base of Little Nell and climbs 3267 feet up the Aspen Mountain ski area finishing at the Sundeck Restaurant at an elevation of 11,212 feet. Attracting hundreds of racers each year, the race brings together snowshoers, Nordic skiers, telemark skiers, and Randonee skiers for this 2.5 mile trek.

Over 300 people took part in the fifth annual Summit For Life Challenge in Aspen. This nighttime uphill race to the top of Aspen Mountain helps to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation. Overall winners were John Gaston in 48:36 and Jessica Phillips in 57:29.
