1. 478 runners showed up at Washington Park for the second annual Littleton Adventisit Hospital TTTS Race For Hope 5K. The male race was dominated by teenagers, led by 18-year- old Chris Sweeney, who broke the tape at 16:44.

2. 18-year-old Ryan Phelan of Avon finished second in 17:41.

3. 16-year-old James Jackson was third, crossing the line in 17:49.

4. Jann Johnson (shown here with Lance Betts) was the female winner, running 19:52.

5. Jenni Keil was the second female to finish, crossing the line in 20:28.

6. Peggy Muhn of Wheat Ridge was the third female and first masters, running 21:06.

7. Girls on the Run of Denver, a local organization that tries to promote fitness in young girls, chose the TTTS Race For Hope as their fall race. Here, coach Ellen Ivy (left) of Golden runs with 10-year-old Mary Son Guinn of Golden. Ellen finished the race in 35:13 and Mary Sue finished the race in 28:41.
