Nearly 1,100 runners and walkers start the Sailin' Shoes 5K and 10K in downtown Colorado Springs.

Joel hamilton of Colorado Springs wins the Sailin' Shoes 10K in 33:28.

Stephanie Jones of Colorado Springs is the first female in the 10K, crossing the line in 39:18.

The lead pack of the 5K is led by Boulder Boulder Champion Nick Hirsch (right orange jersey), the second and third place finishers at the Garden of the Gods 10M, Phil Sakala and Andrew Robinson (Runner's Roost jersey) and eventual winner Kevin Clary (middle, orange).

Kevin Clary of Gunnison wins the 5K in 15:34.

Alisha Williams is the first female in the 5K in 18:12.
