Silvio Guerra of Golden, CO powers to the finish to win the Arby's Rocky Mountain Half Marathon in 1:06:56. 612 people finished the half marathon on a sunny and warm day in Denver, where temperatures reached the high 80's.

Nuta Olaru, a Romanian who lives and trains in Longmont, CO sets a blistering pace in winning the female division of the Arby's Rocky Mountain Half Marathon. Nuta's time of 1:13:28 set a new All-Colorado Half Marathon Record, bettering Maureen Custy's 1:14:08 from the 1984 Rawhide Half Marathon in Ft. Collins.

Over 300 women tackled the female only Seagate Women's 8K. Leading the charge was Takami Ominami, a Japanese runner training in Boulder.

Runners travel the Platte River Trail in downtown Denver on thier way towards the finish line.

Almost 200 runners ran in the 5.5K.

Spectators gather at the finish area to cheer on thier family and friends.
