1. Boulder's Eric Griffiths wins the frigid President's Day 5K in 16:29. Volunteers changed the name to the Frostbite 5K as the temperature at start time was nine degrees.

2. 13-year-old Ryan Russ of Golden is the first female, running 23:05.

3. Michael Blanchard of Castle Rock is the first racewalker, crossing the line in 30:16.

4. Stacey Landman is feeling no pain as she finishes in 36:49.

5. With the cold weather, most people tried to keep warm by wearing as much closthing as possible.

6. Not only did volunteers have to keep themselves warm, they had to find a way to keep the water from freezing!
