1. Jason Delaney of Golden leads 822 runners towards the finish line of the Platte River Half Marathon. Jason winning time of 1:09:01 broke the course record by 20 seconds.

2. James McGown of Sidney, NE finished a close second in 1:09:49.

3. Mike Sharkey of Littleton and Jason Saitta of Parker run together at seven miles. Mike finished third in 1:10:47 while jason was fourth in 1:10:58.

4. Paige Higgins of Littleton ran a strong race, just missing the course record as she crusied to a 1:16:53 finish.

5. Defending champion Kara Roy tried to stay with Higgins early but couldn't match her tempo throughout, falling to second in 1:19:30.

6. Tanya Poel of Boulder finished third overall in 1:23:58.
