1. Justin Young of Boulder wins the extended Platte River Trial Half Marathon in 1:15:00. The course was diverted in the middle of the race as Denver Police had to set up a homicide crime scene on the course. Justin won the USATC Colorado Half Marathon Championships and $500 for his efforts.

2. Paul DiGrappa of Castle Rock took home runner-up honors (1:17:47) and $250 in cash.

3. Andy Ames of Boudler finished third overall (1:18:42) and took home $100 as well as the title of Masters champion, which included a $250 paycheck.

4. Kara Roy of Ft. Collins was the women's champion in 1:26:54, also earning her $500.

5. Heather Hunt of Englewood finished second in 1:30:19, earning $250 for her efforts.

6. Tanya Poel of Boulder finished third overall and first masters (1:30:57), claiming a total of $350.
