Starting in Denver's City Park and running ten miles through
Cheesman Park and Alamo Placita Park to Washington Park, the
first annual Park to Park 10 Mile was a huge success! Here,
Todd Hagadone of Mount Solon, VA (a student at Colorado State
University in Fort Collins) leads over 700 people into
Washington Park. He would go on to win the race in 57:02.
Katie Blackett of Boulder started out slowly and didn't pass
the early leader until after the eighth mile. She would cross
the line 30 seconds clear for a 1:00:33 win.
Daniel Michael Kenney of Denver finished second in 58:48.
Aaron Berthold of Denver finished third in 59:56.
Second place female finisher Brandy Erholtz (1:01:03) passes
the eighth mile with Steven Sellars of Superior (front,
1:00:36) and
Matt Strand of Denver (1:00:58).
Patty Rogers of Denver was the third female finisher, crossing
the line in 1:02:42.
