1. Scott Jamie wins the Mt. Falcon Trail race in 1:00:13. THe race started at the trail head off Colorado Route 8 in Morrison and ran the Castle Trail all the way to the back parking lot and back down. Overall, the course gained 1900' in 4 miles (1500' in the first 2.5 miles) before returning back to the start.

2. Brian Fischer finished a close second in 1:00:13.

3. Lisa Goldsmith was the first female finisher and fifth overall in 1:09:50.

4. Spectacular views of the distant snow-capped peaks were all around during the Mt. Falcon Trail Race.

5. Here was one of the few downhills on the way out (it is and out and back course). Running down this hill provided great vistas of the surrounding meadows and the distant Continental Divide.

6. Runners ran through meadows that were in full bloom, as well as an old burn site.
